Knowing that Kristina Keneally loves her trips to the Bush and is a proud Working Mum, in common with many SOSLP members, the women of the district are writing to invite her to visit Caroona soonest.  We want her to see where NSW gets its Weet-Bix and toast from.  We want to show her how WE consistently deliver 40% more than any other foodbowl area in NSW.

We want her to understand how much our water supplies matter to the ecosystem, food production and towns people of this country region and that we value our unpolluted contribution to the MDB.

We want her to see what her government, through short term expediency, is preparing to put at irreparable risk.



Rally Raises Rights Issues in Canberra

Liverpool Plains farmers joined nearly 3000 other farmers and landholders in Canberra yesterday to protest about the erosion of freehold property rights.

Tony Abbott and Barnaby Joyce spoke to the farmers in front of Parliament House with Mr Abbott pledging that no party he was associated with would remove land rights without compensation.  In this election year, the current Agricultural Minister chose not to attend……
