Nationals Visit Promises New Co-operation
A tour of the Liverpool and Breeza Plains areas on Friday 9th gave Nationals Senate Leader Barnaby Joyce and fellow Senators Fiona Nash and John Williams, together with MP Mark Coulton, a renewed understanding of why prime agricultural land needs to be protected from mining in the name of Food and Water Security for all Australians.
To a packed Caroona hall, Senator Joyce admitted, upfront, that mistakes had been made, especially the recent Water Bill amendments, sponsored by mining stooges with fake claims. However, moving forward, Senator Joyce pledged Nationals support for driving the importance of Australia’s Food and Water Security to his Coalition colleagues, but made very clear the part each and every one of us will also need to play in contacting Senators throughout NSW and voicing our concerns.
